It depends on the magnitude and nature of the concern and the complexity of the situation. One possibility is that SEAC makes a specific recommendation that the applicant has to address the deficiency if it submits a review report.If the substantiation for the customer requirements is so poor that SEAC has serious concerns on the applicant’s conclusions that no suitable alternatives are available to it before the Sunset (or other) Date, SEAC can recommend that no review period is granted.Concerns about the provided information on customer requirements could also lead to SEAC recommending a shorter review period than requested. This could be, for example, if the applicant justified the requested review period by relying on time needed as part of substitution activities to overcome customer requirements, but the time this would take was poorly substantiated.
