The registration dossier must be updated if one or more of the update reasons for registrations under REACH applies (Article 22 and Article 24(2)). For example, a change in the composition of the substance, the status of the registrant, the classification and labelling, or if the annual quantities manufactured or imported reach the next tonnage band.  It is important to verify the information available for your notification in REACH-IT before you start the dossier update.
