There are multiple ways to prepare and submit your PCN information. IUCLID Cloud offers a user-friendly interface to both prepare and submit. In addition to this, preparing in the Cloud means you can safely store all your data online without having to concern yourself with any maintenance or updates of the tool, nor with backing up your data. Preparing in the Cloud simplifies the submission process in the Submission portal with the click of a button. This option is most suitable for small portfolios and for companies without previous experience with IUCLID.Offline preparation using IUCLID offers the same interface as in IUCLID Cloud, the main difference is that you maintain all your information locally. Users will, however, need to download the latest version from the IUCLID website and install and maintain it themselves on a regular basis. A server version is available for multi-user companies. This option is suitable for larger portfolios of mixtures, or companies already knowledgeable with IUCLID.There is also a system-to-system (S2S) service for companies who prefer a more automated approach. Companies may require assistance from software developers and providers to provide an IT solution that integrates their IT systems with the ECHA Submission portal.
